Prince’s Golf Club has been named voltshare’s Venue of the Month for July, winning our ‘Busiest Multi-Charger Site’ award after recording the highest overall usage among venues with multiple chargers during June.

The award recognises the strong demand for EV charging at the club and its commitment to providing a convenient, modern experience for members and visitors.

Demand exceeds expectations

Prince’s Golf Club installed multiple EV chargers to meet growing demand and ensure several drivers could charge at the same time without creating bottlenecks.

Although the club expected steady usage, demand has been even stronger than anticipated.

“The demand has actually exceeded expectations. We anticipated steady usage, but the uptake has been consistently strong, showing just how important EV charging has become for our members and visitors. It’s clear that providing this service meets a genuine need.”

Adding value across the club

The chargers have improved convenience for EV drivers while also benefiting other areas of the club. By allowing people to charge during their visit, they have helped increase footfall and encourage members and visitors to stay for longer.

“The chargers have added real value to the club by improving convenience for members and visitors, increasing footfall and enhancing the overall perception of the club as modern and forward-thinking. They’ve also encouraged longer visits, which has had a positive knock-on effect across other areas of the club.”
