We've made a few improvements to the voltshare app to make charging easier for drivers and give venue owners more visibility over charging activity.

The latest update includes charger availability alerts, charging notifications and downloadable VAT receipts, making it easier to keep track of your charging sessions and manage your expenses.

Get notified when a charger becomes available

If the charger you want to use is already occupied, you can now set an alert through the voltshare app to let you know when it becomes available.

You can set alerts for one or more chargers, so there's no need to keep checking the app to see if a space has opened up.

This is particularly useful at busy hotels and other venues where several drivers may be looking to charge at the same time.

Keep track of your charging sessions

We've also introduced new charging notifications to help drivers and venue owners stay informed.

You can now receive notifications when a charging session starts, stops or a transaction ends.

For drivers, this means you can leave your vehicle charging while you get on with your day, knowing you'll receive updates about your session.

Venue owners can also receive these notifications, giving them better visibility over charging activity at their site.

Download VAT receipts directly from the app

We've made it easier for drivers to access their VAT receipts. You can now download VAT receipts for completed charging sessions directly from the voltshare app, making it easier to keep track of your charging costs and submit expenses.

For hotel guests travelling for business, this means you can charge your vehicle during your stay and download your VAT receipt when your session is complete, ready to submit alongside your other travel expenses.

It's also useful for self-employed drivers, company car users and businesses who need to keep accurate records of their charging costs.

Whether you're charging at a hotel, attending a meeting or stopping off between jobs, your VAT receipt is available directly through the app, without having to request it separately.

The latest update is available now, so make sure you're using the latest version of the voltshare app to access these new features.
